Ball Collection #2: Football

My project on ball collection: 2nd attempt

The geometry of the football consists of 4 revolves of 90 degrees in order to make the ball with the seams.  Two parametric radii at the body and the tip control the size and curvature of the ball.  The logo and the stitches are created simply with void cut.

To create the laces which are following the curved surface of the ball, I need edges for sweeps to pick.  With another solid of revolve cut by a number of voids, edges can be made for sweeps.  Then make the solid invisible so that it will not show up when the family is loaded to project.

Again trigonometry is involved in making this geometry parametric.  I would recommend a review on high school math classes:)
